TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Applicant is to fill in / set out all information required relating to the Applicant’s application (section 13), Incomplete information forms will be sent back to be filled in properly. The accuracy of all information provided to Motivate My App is the responsibility of the Applicant;
Work on the motivation will commence upon:
proof of payment;
and the prescribed necessary personal information; and
your express consent for the processing of your personal information by Motivate My App for the purpose of formulating and drafting your motivationhaving been delivered to info@motivatemyapp.co.za
From the date of payment reflecting in the Motivate My App account, Motivate My App will, within 3 business days, deliver the motivation via e-mail to the Applicant in PDF format.
Motivate My App offers a paperless service and its services are provided by way of correspondence (e-mail) for client convenience– all communication between the Applicant and Motivate My App will be per e-mail for record keeping purposes.
Considering that Motivate My App offers its services by way of correspondence – the Applicant acknowledges that there may be some inaccuracies, errors or misnomers regarding details on the first draft that they receive from Motivate My App. Motivate My App will, free of charge, rectify such errors within 48 hours of notification per e-mail by the Applicant (provided that the Applicant furnished Motivate My App with the correct information in the information sheet).
Motivate My App will not tolerate abusive clients and / nor impatient clients – Motivate My App will not entertain daily follow-ups by clients in respect of the progress of their motivation.
MOTIVATE MY APP IS NOT A CALL CENTRE AND IS NOT A FOLLOW-UP SERVICE PROVIDER. THE APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FOLLOW-UPS WITH THE CENTRAL FIREARMS REGISTRAR (FOR LICENCE APPLICATIONS) AND WITH THE APPEALS BOARD (FOR APPEALS ON LICENCE REFUSALS) REGARDING THE PROGRESS OF THE APPLICATION OR APPEAL.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS “CONTACTS” AT THE APPEALS BOARD OR CENTRAL FIREARMS REGISTRAR AND MOTIVATE MY APP DOES NOT OFFER OR UNDERTAKE TO “EXPEDITE” FORMAL APPEAL AND APPLICATION PROCEEDINGS.
Motivate My App will not accept responsibility for arbitrary refusal reasons such as the usual “Insufficient motivation : You failed to convince the Registrar that there is a need for this particular firearm”
This also excludes the refusal reason “Failed to convince the Registrar why the firearm in your current possession does not satisfy this need
Section 13 of the Act for licences to possess firearm for self-defence. This exclusion extends to all refusal reasons which are based on incorrect applications of the legislation to the applicant’s facts or incorrect
In respect of section13 applications (licences for self-defence) the Registrar determines whether the applicant has a “need” as it is entitled to do so in terms of the Act. Motivate My App goes the extra mile in motivating self-defence applications using the subjective circumstances of each applicant. It must also be shown that alternative measures have been considered and must deal with why they are inadequate. Motivate My App cannot accept responsibility for refusals on section13 applications where the Registrar refuses on the basis of “Insufficient need” or “Failed to explain why alternatives are not sufficient” as Motivate My App expressly deals with each of these elements in great detail in its motivations.

All Personal Information which you provide to Motivate My App will be used and/or retained only for the purposes for which it is collected.
